Technology for Persons with Disabilities - The mandate of the Ability Society of Alberta (ASA) is the provision of quality asset-based services for persons of all ages that are vulnerable or have special needs in the areas of assistive technology, early childhood development, employment, housing, education, seniors issues, community inclusion, community development and independent living both within Canada and internationally. We create social capital and build community in everything we do and as such, we are a community tool through which a person with a special need or senior can live with dignity and achieve their goals and aspirations.

Disability Related Employment Support (DRES) - Educational support involves assistance to learners preparing for employment through post-secondary education, basic skill training, academic upgrading, or labour market programs. Assistive technology includes the purchase and set-up of technology supports required to alleviate, reduce or remove a barrier to education, training or employment. This can include software programs.

Cerebral Palsy Association of Alberta - CPA supports individuals, families, caregivers, professionals, students and other organizations whose lives are touched by Cerebral Palsy. The Funding Request Program is to assist Albertans with cerebral palsy achieve a higher quality of life.

Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) - The AADL program helps Albertans with a long-term disability, chronic illness or terminal illness to maintain their independence at home, in lodges or group homes by providing financial assistance to buy medical equipment and supplies. An assessment by a health care professional determines the equipment and supplies that an Albertan can receive through this program.
