JAWS Professional can access any version of Windows including XP Home to XP Professional, Windows 2000 and 2003, and all versions of Windows Vista.
JAWS Standard is designed for home users and supports Windows XP Home, and Windows Vista Home Basic or Vista Home Premium.

Requirements
JAWS Standard
- A personal computer that will run the Windows 98/Me/ XP Home or Windows Vista Basic Home operating system
- 32 MB of available RAM space required (64 MB required for Windows 2000 Professional).
- 50 MB of available hard disk space required for Windows 95/98/Me, Windows NT/2000 Professional.
- VGA or higher-resolution video adapter (Super VGA 256-color recommended).
- Windows compatible soundcard
JAWS Professional
- A personal computer that will run the Windows 98/Me/ XP Home operating system, Windows NT 4.0/2000 Professional/ XP Professional, or Windows Vista.
- If you intend to use the Eloquence for JAWS software synthesizer, you will need a Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT/2000 Pro compatible sound card.
- If you choose not to use Eloquence for JAWS, then you must have a JAWS-compatible synthesizer.
- 32 MB of available RAM space required (64 MB required for Windows 2000 Professional).
- VGA or higher-resolution video adapter (Super VGA 256-color recommended).
