Pelvic Floor Vitality Program

If You Plan Your Day Around Bathrooms, Pads, or Just in Case

Leaking when you cough, sneeze, or laugh might feel embarrassing…but is not a character flaw. It is often a pelvic floor strength issue.

At Aroga, we help you rebuild control and pelvic floor strength with a clear plan and a non-invasive option for men and women.

Free Trial SIT +30-minute in-person comprehensive assessment. Victoria location only.

You start doing math you never wanted to do.

How far is the bathroom?
How long is the drive?
What if I laugh?
What if I jump?
What if I do not make it?
What if during sex I…?

At first it’s small, barely noticeable. A leak. An urge. A moment you pretend did not happen.

Then it becomes a pattern.
You plan instead of participating.
You brace instead of relaxing.
You stop trusting your body.

And someone explains what is happening, but this information quietly shrinks your life:

  • “This happens after kids.”
  • “This is normal when you’ve had prostate surgery.”
  • “This is just ‘old lady bladder’.”

Aroga takes a different stance.

Not because we think you should feel bad or embarrassed.
Because we think you deserve better. We believe there is no reason to accept these outcomes of age, surgery, or pregnancy.

When bladder control slips, it rarely stays in one box.

It shows up in movement, intimacy, sleep, playing, and in your level of confidence.

The hardest part is not the leak, it is the background stress of constantly monitoring your body.

Your pelvic floor is a muscle system.

Like any muscle system, it can get weaker, less coordinated, or harder to access. This can be influenced by childbirth, hormonal shifts, surgery, rapid weight loss, or years of compensating for the shifts that have occurred.

Most people are offered one of three things:

  • Pads and liners
  • Exercises they cannot feel or are not doing effectively
  • A path that turns into waiting, escalation, or invasive procedures

What is missing is a decisive, non-invasive program to wake the pelvic floor up, train it properly, and then support it with a smart plan.

BTL EMSELLA Chair

Aroga got an EMSELLA chair for a simple reason.

One of our physicians loves running. After her third child, she started leaking during runs. Not sometimes. Often enough that she began planning her routes around bathrooms and worrying about every stride.

  • She did not want an invasive procedure.
  • She did not want to live in pads.
  • She did not want to spend her life thinking about her bladder.

After EMSELLA, she got back to running and feeling like herself again. Then she told one of Aroga’s owners: “We need this here for other people.”

That is why the Pelvic Floor Vitality Program exists at Aroga.

What is the Pelvic Floor Vitality Program?

It is designed around the Emsella.

EMSELLA is a non-invasive chair-based treatment that stimulates the pelvic floor muscles.

BEST of all… You stay fully clothed. There is no internal exam. And, there is no downtime.

During a session, you feel strong pelvic floor contractions. Intensity is adjusted to stay intense but not painful. Many people describe it as unusual at first, then reassuring once they feel the muscles working.

When someone responds well, the shift is noticeable and measurable:

Fewer leaks

Better urge control

Less bathroom planning

More confidence in movement

Wake up less at night

No more pads or liners

But the best outcome is not a number.

It is quiet enjoyment you now find in each day and activity you do because you stop thinking about your bladder all day. You can trust your body again!

Is this program for you?

Not everyone is a candidate for the Pelvic Floor Vitality Program with Emsella. That is why we start with a Trial SIT and screening.

You are a good fit if:

  • You are tired of managing and want to improve function
  • You want a non-invasive option
  • You want an easy and effective way to strengthen your core
  • You value clear screening and honest guidance
  • You are ready to retrain your pelvic floor, without doing complex, self-managed, exercises every day

This can include:

  • • Women who leak after childbirth
  • • Women noticing pelvic floor changes during peri-menopause or menopause
  • • Men with urinary leakage after prostate-related changes
  • • People who want pelvic floor support as part of sexual wellness

This program is NOT a fit if:

  • Need complex pelvic floor care that hasn’t been assessed or treated by a physician or physiotherapist. (Though Emsella might be added later based on their recommendation).
  • Are pregnant, have a pacemaker, or have metal implants that are not MRI-safe.
  • Feel that your current level of function is “good enough”.

The Pelvic Floor Vitality Program

The Pelvic Floor Vitality Program is a structured, series-based neuromuscular rehabilitation pathway. Protocols and program level are based on severity of symptoms, needs, and desired outcome.

Questions we’re often asked

EMSELLA is used to strengthen and retrain the pelvic floor muscles involved in bladder control. It is commonly considered for stress incontinence, urge incontinence, and mixed incontinence. Suitability depends on your situation, which is why screening matters.

Kegels rely on you being able to find and contract the right muscles, consistently, over time. Many people cannot feel those muscles well, especially after years of compensating, childbirth, hormonal shifts, or surgery. EMSELLA creates strong pelvic floor contractions non-invasively, which can help retrain access and coordination.

It depends. Some people may need only a few sessions. Others benefit from a longer series. After your Trial SIT and consult, we will recommend a plan based on your goals, your response, and what makes clinical sense. Maintenance is recommended at 3 months to help maintain progress.

It should feel intense but not painful. You will feel strong pelvic floor contractions. We adjust the intensity based on your feedback. You remain fully clothed and can return to normal activity after.

Sometimes, yes. When a muscle system has been underactive, re-engaging it can temporarily change how things feel, including awareness or urgency. This does not automatically mean something is wrong, but it is one reason we track trends over time and adjust your plan.

Responses vary. Some people notice changes after a few sessions. Others notice gradual improvement across a series. We focus on realistic, trend-based change rather than overnight promises.

We treat it like clinical care, not a stand-alone device session. Your Trial SIT includes screening, education, and guidance. If EMSELLA is a fit, we build a plan that supports pelvic health in real life, including basics like breathing, pressure management, and movement habits.

This is not a publicly funded service, and private pay allows timely access, proper screening, and enough time for education and follow-through.
